What is Animal Science

But in this major, we learn animal science specifically, which includes understanding animals’ facts and how we control them. To make it simple, we are using science to take care of animals.

Animal science is the study of farm animals like cows, pigs, chickens, and sheep. It teaches how to care for these animals, help them grow healthy, and produce food like milk, meat, and eggs. People who study animal science also learn about pets, such as dogs and cats, and how to keep them healthy and happy.
